There are so many ways to add a bit of vintage flair to your Florida wedding and/or engagement photo shoot. We here at, Sterling Photography International, want to give you some ideas that will inspire you to start thinking in terms of perhaps a boho-style wedding or a vintage classic styled wedding.

So why vintage?

A lot of couples adore the look and feel of worn edges and chipped paint. You can most likely find the vintage style in their own homes or even in their clothing style. And of course if you are one of these couples, the idea of being surrounded by your loved ones with the décor/style that you adore….well that just makes for an amazing day!

Perhaps you want your wedding to be in a barn (or another outdoor venue) or you plan to have a backyard soirée. Whatever the case is, we are ready to capture those moments that will last a lifetime. Contact us today to learn more!

Here are some ideas to help jumpstart the ideas for your vintage wedding/engagement shoot décor:

  • Mismatched hand-lettered signage (this is a huge benefit when picking this style –not having to be really matchy-matchy)
  • Antique suitcases
  • Mason jars, mason jars, and more mason jars
  • Floral crown for the bride
  • Bird cages can be used as table centerpieces
  • Look up some wedding invitations with a 20’s feel
  • For a unique flower vase try a vintage bottle
  • Use a vintage door as décor for the wedding or engagement photos
  • Use an old farm mailbox as a place for guests to put cards
  • An antique cameo in the bride’s bouquet
  • Oil lamps and rustic crates, need we say more…

There are places that will rent out antique pieces to you for your special day. This may be a better bet financially for some.
