Keep a travel journal

It’s easy for the small details to slip away, but if you write them down, you’re sure to remember them for a long time to come. Keep a journal dedicated to your honeymoon trip and record the names of special restaurants or interesting sites. Jot down a short description of that dessert your couldn’t get enough of or that signature cocktail you loved. Record funny quotes from your new spouse or interactions with locals. One day you’ll enjoy reminiscing on those memories.

Take video footage

Sometimes a still photo just can’t do justice to a special moment or beautiful view, while a video clip can perfectly capture the moment.  Now that smartphones are commonplace, video recording has become a breeze. There are also plenty of compact, lightweight video cameras on the market that will prevent you from losing battery power or storage on your phone. Consider taking video of special moments, like the two of you zip gliding through the rainforest. When you get home, you can compile the clips into a short video to share with friends and family.
