The Happy Holidays time of the year is upon us. Or as Andy Williams sang it, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year.” We know this time of year can be commercial. The holiday may get a little stressful. Hurrying and Scurrying to find presents that are just perfect may cause the blood pressure to rise a little. But we still love it. We love the innocence and charm, charity and joy.
The Reall Meaning of the Season
Today, we suspend our usual Engagement/Wedding blogging, to bring you some reflections on the real, home-style meaning behind the holiday spirit. We believe the heart of every holiday is the celebration of quality family time.
And Happy Holidays is another way of saying…
“Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year and a Blessed Kwanzaa.”
So, we would be remiss if we did not share these wishes with our clients, friends, and family. Sometimes, we try to express these ideas by sending seasonal cards. As I was looking through an assortment of E-holiday cards, I came across these card verses.
- Hanukkah: “Wish your family and friends all the warmth and happiness Hanukkah has to bring.”
- Christmas: “May the magic of Christmas never end and our greatest gifts be family and friends.”
- Kwanzaa: Tis the season for good food, family, friends, presents, and fellowship. May yours be filled with each this season and throughout the year.
There differences in all our religions and our observance of special holidays this time of year. But there also seems to be special ideas we share. At the heart of our celebrations are our feelings for home, fellowship, and most of all…Family.
Sterling and staff genuinely feel there is no greater place than home for the holidays…
…and no greater holiday gift than looking into the eyes of our loved ones and saying, “I love you.”
Home is Where Your People Are!
We applaud you as you celebrate the Season of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, and New Years Day.
