Here is a quick checklist:
- Call your friends and family before posting it on social media (not sure your best friend or mother would like to see a picture of the ring on Instagram or Facebook before they hear the big news from the source)
- Think about the season in which you would like to have your wedding (maybe even set a round about date)
- Get on the Internet for some thematic inspiration– Pinterest is a great place to get the ideas flowing
- Perhaps start working out a budget and open up an account dedicated to wedding planning
