The most rudimentary way to show the spirit of love is to capture a sincere expression from the bride and groom. That is pretty much encapsulated in the picture above. We want our bride and grooms to feel so comfortable with us that perhaps they even forget we are there snapping away!
We want to also portray you and the love of your life in unique ways; creating a single shape out of two individuals. This is representative of the union or the making of one. How do we do this? When we have the couple arrange their arms around each other it suggests a comfy flow of energy between the lovebirds. Regions where the two of you come together actually help to bring your shapes together in a complimentary way and to create one form.

That phrase doesn’t really work when it comes to wedding portraits. We don’t want your smiles to be forced. And if you are just not a smiley type of couple, that’s okay! If you all are more comfortable revealing a different expression…then so be it. The best photo shoots are natural, not strained or pushed. The important thing is for the both of you to feel relaxed and calm.
